How to use your AmeriCorps for the Earthship Academy

1.     Register for your course with Earthship Academy.

2.     Complete Western Colorado’s Credit Registration Packet.


3. Submit the Credit Registration Packet by:

a.     Email: Outdoorprograms@western.edu (PDF or Microsoft documents only).

b.     Fax: 970-943-7068

c.      Mail: WCU Taylor 303 1 Western Way Gunnison, CO 81231

4.     Once Extended Studies receives your credit registration packet you will receive a ‘Forms Received’ email confirming your registration forms have been received.

5.     Within 7-10 business days you will receive an invoice with your total amount due.

6.     Once you receive your invoice log onto your AmeriCorps portal and submit a voucher to WCU Financial Aid office.

7.     When Extended Studies receives your AmeriCorps funds you will be sent a ‘Registration and Payment Confirmation’ email confirming you are registered, paid, and your funds have been sent to Earthship Academy.
