The New Earthship Education Facility funded with generous capital outlay from the State of New Mexico, with the help of Representative Bobby Gonazales and Governor Bill Richardson, is nearing completion.  Doors are being hung on the bathrooms, the black water cell is being dug outside and shelving for merchandise is being installed.

Yesterday, I started hanging some of the displays that will be in the main gallery space of the building.  The photo banners are 5 feet tall and 3 feet wide and hang from the ceiling.  One set will be a series of six banners elaborating the basic Earthship concepts: Building with Natural and Recycled Materials, Thermal Solar Heating and Cooling, Solar and Wind Electricity, Water Harvesting, Contained Sewage Treatment and Food Production.

Another 3 banners show the Phoenix Earthship, one of our nightly rentals and a true showpiece of a building.  Another four displays will have photos of all of our Earthship Demonstration Projects around the world.

Everything in the building will be presented simply and graphically.  I've had a great time taking the photos and designing the displays. Overall we will have a much cleaner, more modern, presentation of the Earthship Concept.
