Very interested in getting a project going in minnesota, wondering how many other people are looking for the same. I'm in southern minnesota and am interested in talking to anyone with interest of an earthship in the area.

I just joined this forum, so I hope this response isn't too late. I too live in Minnesota and I would love to one day build my own home. I'm completely sold on using natural or reused/reclaimed materials. I've just learned about Earthship style construction recently, until now I've been thinking about straw-bale construction and/or cob. Cob I know has similar properties to rammed earth, however it would seem that rammed earth is much easier to build and will provide much more thermal mass if built correctly.

I don't have land yet, but I'm always looking for good deals. I don't have any plans yet, just a dream!
