I'm an engineering student working in Toronto. I ruminating on a business plan for a small organic farm/earth ship project. Solar panels for the project are currently under construction. Still in the early phase. Documentation, plans and available farm land are still needed. Thinking of using the resources at www.farmlink.net/ to get the land. Anyone interested in a project like this should get in touch with me! There are three of us involved in this project at this point. We are serious about this plan.

Hi there! I'm currently looking to purchase land to do kinda the same thing you're talking about. I live near Orillia, I'm a carpenter/custom builder. My wife,daughter and I are vegans and want to grow organic vegetables year round not only for ourselves but for purchase at the local farmers markets. I grew up on a 100 acre farm that would have been perfect for this sort of thing but my older brother would never sell it to me. Anyway, There is a couple of sites near Coldwater that I have been trying to get info on. There was a house/25 acres i visited that was all rock/treed and nowhere to build/grow. The other is a 53 acre lot with no road access. Cheap though $49,999.. Township is withholding a building permit unless owner agrees to pay for the building of a road to the property. I'm looking into to the road cost, but I also think I could use this as some sort of leverage into getting earthship plans approved. Will keep you updated and maybe we could all help each other out.
