Test U 4 Months, 3 Weeks ago  
Last summer we spent our spare time building a test U on the north edge of our property in Morgan County. Tire pounding with cement blocking went very well. I am impressed with the entire Earthship System. I would love to be able to visit Taos and get my hands dirty working alongside the pros. Due to finances I have to learn things the hard way. I am planning on finishing this building this summer. We are patiently waiting for warm weather.


Here is a picture of our test building just before winter set in. The top row of tires are just sitting lose in the picture. And yes, there is an issue on the back wall on rows 5 and 6. I secured the area with 4’ rebar stakes through tires. I have gotten much better at laying out rows since.

Oops. Im sure that will fly just once. They stress do not have two joints on top of one another,but that is not nearly as bad as some stuff i have seen on youtube. Check this out.
