New Earthship learning opportunity coming up this fall.


Earthship Biotecture will be building a Two Bedroom Global Model Earthship in Taylor County, Georgia.

This is an opportunity to work and learn alongside Michael Reynolds and the Earthship Crew. Learn how to layout an Earthship, pound tires, build can and bottle walls, install power and water systems, work with mud plaster and more!









EARTHSHIP GEORGIA



Week 1: November 1-5
Week 2: November 8-12
Week 3: November 15-19
Week 4: November 22-26





Interns are responsible for their own transportation, food and lodging.


This opportunity is available on a first come, first served basis.


There is a $100 scheduling fee ($50 is refundable upon your arrival at the site).
The fee is a flat fee no matter how many weeks you attend.

Hi! Where in Taylor County? It is important to know the exact location in order to find places to stay and estimate how much it will cost to stay there for the complete month before I apply for the internship. Thanks.

I'm currently in Cali and have noticed the marked resistance to Earthships shockingly here in progressive coastal Cali. I'd like to fight that one logical step at a time, establishing structures that can add Earthship functions at a later point, one artist co-op at a time, until at last there are existing structures with Earthship properties under code.
I would like to attend this workshop and hit the ground running in my hometown in Mississipp where I have some Rankin County acreage ready to build, with my investor in Cali getting the loan, and I already have a prospective buyer.
I'd like to bring a 5th wheel to the site, is there room for it and any type of connection available? Or should I plan to bring a tent?

My husband and I would like to participate in the Taylor County, Georgia build starting Nov.19, 2010. We currently reside on Tybee Island, Georgia and are excited to participate in this experience. Hi, I live in the UK but would love to join the Georgia Earthship build. I'm not sure whether to come for the whole month or the last two weeks. My decision will depend on accommodation costs really. Could you tell me whereabouts in Taylor County the build will be so I can do some investigating?
