Answer
Earthships can be built in any climate. In fact, Earthships have been built where it is hot and humid, overcast and rainy, hot and dry, cold and dry, cold and wet, tropical, and even in extremely cold regions. Solar and wind power systems can be tuned to work in overcast climates as well as sunny ones. Water catch and reuse systems are also suitable for any region.
For more information on how passive solar/thermal mass construction works in different climates, we suggest you read Earthship Volume 1 and Comfort in Any Climate (click).
