How To Arrange a Group Tour

Contact us if you would like to make arrangements for a group tour of the Earthship Biotecture Visitor Center in Taos.  For $10 per person, your group will tour the center with a member of the Earthship staff; this includes a short introductory film about our company and a walk through of the building. Your guide will explain the basic Earthship theories and practices such as construction methods, systems packages, and design options. Your 1.5 hour tour will conclude with a visit to a newly completed Earthship in the Greater World Community.
For those groups who desire a more intensive experience, we offer a 2.5 hour tour for $20 per person. With this option, your group will watch the introductory video, attend a brief lecture by Earthship staff on construction methods, systems packages, and packaged plan designs, followed by a question and answer period. Your visit will conclude with a tour of the Phoenix Earthship. The 5,400 sq. ft. Phoenix encompasses three bedrooms, two baths, two sun porches, and an atrium filled with luscious vegetables and fruits, as well as a fish pond and open aviary.

(The Phoenix is our most popular nightly rental, so please make this tour reservation well in advance.)
