Big thanks to Lars, Arty, Chris, David, Mason, Kegan, Kate, Bryan, Sam, Josh and Aaron for their help on Monday. The weather was perfect and we got about 20 tyres pounded and heaps of mud on the wall.

I’ve finalised my plans and will be submitting them to council this week for planning approval. Will be using a private certifier for building approval. I really want to get approval before I start doing anything too major such as putting on the roof or the greenhouse... so far I just have a “retaining wall”. The plan is for the Earthship to be a bed & breakfast so that people can experience Earthship without having to go all the way to Taos – although this is something that I highly recommend!
