I'm a Manitoban living in Saskatchewan (does that make me a Saskatchewanonian?) Looking to build in MB somewhere in the next few years and would be very interested to get some hands on at another Canadian build! Where in BC is this taking place?

It's great to see more and more of this happening in Canada!

Read the manuals over a year ago after visiting 'The Greater World Community', started building with straw and clay plus a huge array of natural building products and can't stop. Built a nice bottle tree wall for Camp Kawartha's Environmental Learning Centre plus helped with a bale house and now working with a full time true natural and sustainable builder. Nothing is more rewarding! I can't wait to build my own little unique "earthship"

I too am a finishing carpenter on Van Isle in BC. and am in the search for some land to start a project such as this. I would like to learn more and meet some like minded people on the way. Hopefully I can help out with this upcoming project.

Even though it's taken us longer to get started on our Middle Earth Home project of building an Earthship, the timing couldn't be better for such an opportunity. Also looking to connect with fellow Hobbits seeking out a self sustainable lifestyle through the concepts of Earthship living. Looking forward to seeing where in BC this workshop is taking place...any one hear anything?

Good day, from Richmond/B.C.:

I am planning a tire bale earthship in Mindanao, Philippines, and am retired. So, I am interested in volunteering in the lower mainland area to see if I can learn something.

Thankyou:

My fiancé and I would be ecstatic to help and learn during the BC project! We got the land, tires and the bottles! Got all the pertinent literature and media materials, as well! We miss only the experience, the exhaustion and of course the expertise…
Very interested in connecting with fellow Earthshippers, especially the British Columbians, as we are located in B.C. Cheers, and keep pounding!

Hi I just filled out the form, I should mention there are 2 of us who would like to volunteer (the fee is fine) and we are both experienced with carpentry, we live in Alberta but have relatives and friends... accommodations will not be an issue. Please consider us, we are very eager and quick to learn, this would mean a lot!

I am excited to be a part of this build in BC. I am on Vancouver Island and am stoked to volunteer this summer. I don't have carpentry experience but I feel I have some skills to contribute. It would be good to know the location so we can all plan to be there and get time off work.

If time permits maybe we can have some fun in the wind. I'm an old school motorcycle pup. My foster dads were survivors of
Vietnam. They were can do men a great inspiration to my approach to life.

Hi everybody! I'm a handyman and filmmaker / location sound recordist in and from Chicago and I stayed in Kirsten Jacobsen's earthship last summer after I saw garbage warrior and was blown away at everything about it. I turn 30 on August 20th this year and think it would be a great gift to myself to do this. I don't have a car and just found out about this, and am VERY interested. If anyone is renting a house or has any ideas about where to stay / transportation etc. please contact me: victorgrigas@gmail.com I'm interested in August 16th to 20th!!!!

My name is Ariell, I live near Nelson, BC. I would love to have the oppurtunity to volunteer any and as much time that could be allotted. I am currently working on a earth sac home with Cal earth in the Slocan Valley here in BC. Great learning & experience on a volunteer basis! If anyone wants to commune, I would love to drop a few lines here and there, and get more connected in this realm, in general.

So, here's to hopefully making the cut off, and if so, I look forward to meeting any of you.
