Baja Earthship Build, Days 14-16

The house is really coming together quick. In the last couple days the roof was completed, the septic system and outdoor blackwater botanical cell were finished off and covered with dirt, and all the outdoor concrete plaster roughcoat was done which really gives the house that finished look.
Things are starting to slow down for many of us as there are less jobs to be done. Some volunteers are taking some time off as they are not needs and others are hanging around to observe or scoop up any task that comes up while the crew starts wrapping up a lot of the finishing work. Everything else I want to say you can find below in the photo captions.
Lindsay, Paul and I assuming the scorpian pose.
Jason and Silje layinging down Pro Panel on the roof, the final layer of the roof. Rainwater runs down those channels to the gutters. You can see the OSB plywood roofing layer underneath the Pro Panel.
The camp shower that Ben and Lou built. All you gotta do is hang a solar shower bag from that stick on the top and WALA! You're showering in the desert... with warm water!
Stylin' view of the finished roof. You can see the Pro Panel channels where rain water runs down, the splash guard that is there to save any water from splashing over the gutter, and the gutter itself.
Sam held daily Yoga sessions on the roof of Ana and Mateo's house right by the ocean. What a great way to end the day!
Muscle man Paul with two beauties on his shoulders. Taken while lost on dirt roads trying to get to the mountains.
Money Shot.
Sam kickin' it at Ana and Mateo's place after a hard day of work. Those tree posts are the same type we used for the entry way into the Earthship.
Zap! Zing! Lindsay's artistic mastery on Paul's noggin.
Completed face of the Earthship with all solar panels, water heater panel and dedicated solar panel for the water heater pump (the small one of the left).
Lindsay making me not bald with a sharpie. Hot rat tail, eh? Sam likes it :)
Brian prepping the kitchen wall for cabinets.
A good look at the foyer pre-concrete slab. You can see the dirt floor packed and level with the metal grid ready to receive concrete. The metal's function is identical to that of rebar. It will give the concrete structure and strength.
Detail of west entrance bottle work pre plastering.
Sebastian doing bottle work on the west entrance.
Bagship 1.0! The film crew's on-site hideaway.
Rory laying on the concrete plaster roughcoat on the underside of the west entrance arch. He makes it look real easy.
